Butter My Jam is a real-time collaborative music queue tool. It allows users to create or join rooms, search for YouTube videos, and collectively manage a shared playback queue. Audio and video are played exclusively through the official YouTube embedded player.

Butter My Jam is a queue and remote control layer — it does not stream, host, download, or distribute any media content. All playback is delivered directly by YouTube.

2. YouTube Terms of Service

This app uses the YouTube API Services. By using Butter My Jam, you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service and acknowledge that your use of YouTube content through this app is subject to YouTube's policies.

You may not use this app to circumvent YouTube's terms, including but not limited to: downloading copyrighted content, bypassing age restrictions, region blocks, or embed restrictions.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use this app to:

• Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
• Infringe the intellectual property rights of YouTube, Google, or any content creator.
• Attempt to extract, download, or proxy audio or video streams.

If you intend to use this app in a venue, commercial establishment, or any context involving public performance of music, you are solely responsible for obtaining all applicable music licensing and public-performance rights required by the laws of your jurisdiction.

We make no representation that use of YouTube content in commercial or public settings is permitted under YouTube's terms or applicable copyright law.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, accuracy of search results, or continuity of YouTube API access. YouTube API quotas and availability are subject to change by Google at any time.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Butter My Jam and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data or inability to access the app.
